A pioneer and leading Hairdressing Salon and Training Institute, Salon Lecoffeur thillaque, was started by Deiter Kessler from Germany.
In 1985 Thilaque De Silva then a budding young Hairstylist, took up the Challenge to take over this Salon and under the able guidance of Thilaque, now Managing Director, this Salon has grown to be one of the most sought after Salon’s in Colombo.

Thilaque De Silva being the Master Hairstylist of Salon Lecoffeur Thilaque, is also a Past President of the Sri Lanka Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians (SLAHAB).
Thilaque De Silva is a Certified Verifier of the City & Guilds (London) Hair & Beauty Courses, and is also an Assessor for the NVQ practical exams (Sri Lanka).

Salon Lecoffeur is Accredited with conducting the City & Guilds Hair & Beauty Courses and is the pioneer Salon to be given this Accredition.
